How far along? 9 weeks
- Maternity clothes: Nothing yet but I’ve had to use the "hair tie trick” a couple times … it may be time for a Bellaband or something similar … also the blump seems to be there in the morning and continues to get bigger throughout the day.
- Symptoms: Nausea, exhaustion, lack of appetite … also developed a cough/cold :(
- Sleep: Same although more bad than good nights … might start researching the Snoogle
- Best moment this week: Seeing and hearing Baby Riedel!! We had our ultrasound on Wednesday and the baby measured between 9wks 4days and 9wks 3days (I think we settled on 3 days) which puts me a day ahead and a new EDD of 11/23. It was incredible. Baby R was moving all around in there (so wiggly) and we could clearly see hands, feet/legs, head, and umbilical chord. We were also able to hear the heartbeat which was amazing. The doctor was happy with everything she saw and said it was a very “good and strong heartbeat” … YAY! We continue to feel so blessed and are so, so excited for this journey and new chapter.
- Movement: We could definitely see it - looked like he/she was doing a little jig in there - but still can’t feel it
- Cravings/Aversions: Craving: fruit, popsicles (that box of OtterPops has really come in handy), baked goods, spicy shrimp tacos / Aversions: Same as last week but newly added is chicken … yuck
- Happy or moody most of the time: Happy, and so excited!
- Looking forward to: A relaxing weekend
Lurve all of this. Yay for Otter Pops. Pregnancy eating can be so strange.
