My how different spring breaks are these days!
We enjoyed a short but still very relaxing spring break in Tahoe a couple weeks ago. Wesley's daycare is closed 2 weeks a year and we try take advantage of the weeks by going on vacation.
We originally chose San Diego, but for a number of reasons that destination wasn't going to work this time, so we chose an old favorite. We AirBnB'd a lakefront condo and it was perfect! We're already planning weekends to rebook! The view, location, cleanliness, amenities, comfort...everything worked perfectly for our family :)
We spent Thurs-Sun playing, walking, exploring, BBQ'ing, getting massages, and spending uninterrupted, quality time together. Our lives are pretty hectic and getting away, putting our phones away (we try!) and focusing on just enjoying the moments with each other is exactly what we needed. Also something we're determined to do a lot more of.
