9 months

Our sweet boy turned 9 months last Thursday. I can't even believe it. Hard to believe he's been alive as long as I was pregnant with him. It tears me up and fills my heart with joy all at the same time. I suspect this is just the norm of being a parent. He's growing each day it seems; physically, emotionally and mentally. He's a crawling machine, climbing on everything and standing up any chance he gets. He still loves his Johnny Jumper (thank goodness), his wagon and his soft blocks. He cut his first tooth last Monday and is such a good eater. Will try anything! He's weighing somewhere between 18-19lbs but has definitely grown taller in the last month. He continues to make each day feel like Christmas morning for us. We feel so blessed, love watching him soak up the world around him and can't wait to watch him continue to grow.

2 months old & a well check

2 months, already?! Hard to believe but they have been the best 2 months of my life ( fyi - I suspect I'll be saying that about each month from here on out ). I wish time would slow down. Wesley is smiling and "talking" these days. He had his 2 month well check and first round of shots this morning and here's how he's measuring up: 97% for length (24.5") - up 3" from last appt 41% for weight (b/c he is so long - 11lb 15oz) - up 3.02 from last appt 59% for head circumference (15.5") - up 1" from last appt such a little trooper taking his oral vaccine & getting his other shots lots of cuddles this afternoon, after the shots ... I'm not complaining :)

8 months

Happy 8 months to our sweet Wesley! He is changing before our eyes and learning so many new things. He is so interactive and brings us such joy! He is crawling, standing, pulling up on everything, babbling, "singing", blowing bubbles & raspberries, imitating, trying all sorts of "solids", etc. He weighs 17 lbs and is about 29-30 inches long. (out takes)
